Technical Support Engineer - Working with Premier League (PGMOL)

Personar is seeking a talented and proactive Technical Support Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will provide dedicated support for the Premier League (PGMOL) as a top-tier customer for Personar, ensuring seamless integration and optimal operation for Premier League games. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and the customer to resolve issues, optimize system performance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products and services.

Location:

  • London, UK (Hybrid role)

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Support

  • Key setup and operations for matches and working with other technology providers

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems that can happen in real-time to ensure minimal disruptions

  • Provide efficient and effective technical support to the Premier League (PGMOL), addressing issues related to their use of our technology

  • Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of our systems

2. Client Interaction

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Premier League technical inquiries and support requests

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the customer, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction

  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients to maximize the value of our technology solutions

3. System Optimization

  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas or issues in real-time during games

  • Collaborate with Personar development teams to implement updates and enhancements based on client feedback and performance metrics

  • Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and secure

4. Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain detailed documentation of support activities, issues, and resolutions

  • Provide regular reports on system performance, client interactions, and support metrics

  • Contribute to the development of support guides, FAQs, and knowledge base articles

5. Collaboration

  • Work closely with Personar engineers, data scientists, and product development teams to understand product features and capabilities

  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings to discuss and address technical challenges

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes and best practices

Qualifications

Required:

  • Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in AI/ML or data analytics

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and deployment tools

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Willingness to travel on-site if needed

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • Experience working with the Premier League or PGMOL (great but not essential)

  • Experience working with enterprise companies, sports teams, or in the sports industry

  • Experience working with real-time audio and video technologies

  • Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts and technologies
